Purchase Policy
When you order, we understand issues arise, things come up, and life just happens. Please check out our purchase policy below.
- Online orders must be picked up within thirty (30) days of the purchase date.
- A 20% restocking fee will be charged for abandoned orders after thirty (30) days.
- If you choose to pay in store, payment must be made within seven (7) days of the purchase date. You will still have thirty (30) days to pick up the item. Payment can be made in store or over the phone.
- If payment is not made within or after seven (7) days of the purchase date, the order will be cancelled.
- Any orders not picked up within sixty (60) days of notification that the order is ready for pickup, it may be subject to storage fees, cancellation, and/or full surrender of purchase and payment.
- We do not price match in store. Our online price is only valid online.

Pre-Orders:
- Payment must be made in full prior to the pre-order deadline. We will not accept payment at pickup.
- If payment is not made in full prior to the pre-order deadline, your order will be forfeited and payment refunded.
- If payment is made in and the customer wants to cancel or change their pre-order, the customer will incur a 20% restocking fee on the total amount of the pre-order.
Shipping:
Shipping fees are based on the cost of actual shipping, insurance on the item being shipped, and the weight and size of the package. We charge what we do so we can be sure the item you have purchased and spent your hard-earned money on gets to you safe, sound, and in one piece. If you are purchasing high-capacity magazines in a state they are illegal in, the customer must provide proof they are Military or Law Enforcement.
All firearms MUST be shipped to an FFL. The customer is responsible for contacting the receiving FFL and having them send information to Swamp Yankee Arms LLC prior to the item being shipped. Please provide your FFL information as the shipping address. We will ship to any state, but the customer is responsible for knowing their relevant laws and whether it is legal for you to own. If it is not legal, and you purchase it, we will ship it to your receiving FFL who will then refuse the transfer. In this case, please see our return policy.
Pick up in store is available for local customers only. Any out of state customers will not be able to pick up in store due to laws on travelling with firearms across state lines and CT state law on transferring firearms to non-CT residents.

Gun Broker Shipping: All items are sold AS IS. Firearms have been inspected but not test fired. Shipping cost is non-negotiable. The cost is to ensure the item can be packed safely and properly to avoid breakage during shipment as well as insured to protect both the seller and the buyer. We will ship to any state, but the buyer is responsible for knowing their relevant laws and whether this is legal for you to own.
Transfers:
Please email tiara@swampyankeearms.com regarding any incoming transfers sent to Swamp Yankee Arms LLC. This allows us to keep track of your items and notify you when they have arrived.
In store: All transfers sent to Swamp Yankee Arms LLC are subject to a 24 holding period after notification of delivery. Please wait the allotted 24 hour holding period prior to picking up your item. If you are alerted by the sending FFL that your firearm has been delivered and you do not hear from us after the 24 hour period, please give us a call to ensure your item is ready for pickup prior to arriving.
Fees: Transfer fees are $25.00 for the first item and $5.00 for each additional item in the same transaction.
Returns:
In store: All sales are final. No returns permitted on sales of firearms, serialized firearm parts, or ammunition. Exchanges on accessories will be assessed on a case by case basis.
Online: For all online purchases, we have a 30-day return policy for all unopened, unused, and unfired items. Customers are responsible for shipping fees to process a return and will also incur a non-refundable 20% restocking fee. We will ship to any state, but the customer is responsible for knowing their relevant laws and whether it is legal for you to own. If it is not legal, and you purchase it, we will ship it to your receiving FFL who will then refuse the transfer. The above return policy still applies in this event. Please contact us with any questions regarding return processing.

Warranty:
Swamp Yankee Arms, LLC warranties only apply as long as you treat our staff like human beings with the same respect and kindness they provide to you. If you are unable to treat our staff like the wonderful human beings they are, this warranty does not apply to you!
Any firearms fully, completely built, and manufactured by Swamp Yankee Arms, LLC are and will come with a lifetime warranty. This warranty applies to manufacturing issues, manufacturer recalls, and gunsmithing for non-functioning firearms.
This warranty will not apply to all, but not limited to, intentional or purposeful destruction/testing of the firearm, personal gunsmithing, or disregard to manufacturer guidelines on cleaning or disassembly. Swamp Yankee Arms, LLC or any Swamp Yankee Arms, LLC authorized personnel is allowed the discretion to determine on a case by case basis if the firearm will be warrantied.
All factory new firearms purchased from Swamp Yankee Arms, LLC are subject to the manufacturers warranty. Please contact the manufacturer of your firearm regarding any warranty questions, concerns, or issues.
Privacy Policy:
It is Swamp Yankee Arms, LLC's highest importance to respect your privacy pertaining to any information we may collect from you across our website, www.swampyankeearms.com and/or any other sites or forums we may own or operate. We only ask for personal information we absolutely need to provide the best service possible to you. We will only collect your information by fair and lawful means with your knowledge and consent.
Swamp Yankee Arms, LLC does not and will not ever sell or provide your information to third parties.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Connecticut and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
