My Sig Sauer Experience

Happy Wednesday again everyone! I just got back from vacation today so that's 100% on me for not sending this out yesterday! Next week, the newsletter will go back to our regular Tuesday's, I promise. And I know last week was crazy with our hours, but we are back to our regular hours for this week and next week, not to worry. Just so everyone is aware, we will be closed on Monday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday.

On our much needed vacation, Tyler and I took a trip up to the Sig Experience Center Flagship Store in Exeter, NH to see what the hype was all about! We were nervous it would just be a retail store full of Sig Sauer products and that's it. Thankfully, it was a really cool experience (haha)! The guys up there were super great to talk to, had a lot of knowledge, and made sure we had a great time.

While it is mostly a retail store, they also have a really cool little museum with historical, present, and future Sig Sauer firearms and products. It had some really cool one of a kind firearms, Team Sig Sauer personal firearms on display, and even some prototypes!

The range was also really awesome. They have so many different firearms out for rentals and of course it wouldn't be a vacation without shooting machine guns. Tyler tried out the Sig Sauer 500 Series and the Sig Sauer Surge; both of which are now discontinued and he was super excited to have the chance to shoot! I myself tried out the new Sig Sauer P226 AXG Legion and the P365 AXG Legion. Both of which I thoroughly enjoyed and was thrilled at the chance to try them out before anyone else in the shop!

We do have the P365 AXG Legion on order for the shop... and if you're looking for a new carry piece, I would HIGHLY recommend it for anyone. I think the same for the P226 AXG Legion... but that's just because I have a soft spot for the P226.

All in all, I was really happy we took the time to check it out instead of writing it off as "just a retail store". If you're taking a little day trip to NH and you're in the area, I would definitely take the time and stop in! We didn't take too many pictures or videos while we were there, so enjoy the one I did take of Tyler... I promise he had more fun than he looks like he did in this picture.

Don't forget to check out our subreddit, r/SwampYankeeArms for daily updates on the shop! Tom is also on r/CTguns every Tuesday with "Ask an LGS Anything". As usual, be sure to check out swampyankeearms.com or give us a call at 860-591-1036. We are always happy to help!

Hope to see you in the shop and have a great week!
